Dual Degree - Bachelor of Science - Biology Transfer to Doctor of Pharmacy Program at Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy (3 + 3)

In this 3+3 academic program, a student can earn a Bachelor’s degree and PharmD by completing all required credits for their degree program at Sacred Heart University within 3 years. The balance of their undergraduate credits will be completed during their first year of pharmacy school at University of Saint Joseph School of Pharmacy.

The Biology major emphasizes a broad training in biology by requiring an additional six upper-level biology elective courses, with at least one in each of three areas corresponding to different levels of biological organization: environmental, organismal, and molecular. 

This program offers the broadest education of the four majors, prepares students for a wide variety of careers in the life sciences, and meets the requirements for admission at most graduate and pre-professional schools.
