The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology's recently reaccredited teaching courses are designed to equip students with the most relevant and up-to-date course content. Students get to decide what kind of teacher they would like to be, and choose from specialisations in general primary, early childhood, disability inclusion, physical education and sport. Through students' subject selection, they can explore English, mathematics, and STEM subjects.
Combining hands-on experiences with theoretical learning, students will build the skills they need to be an effective and influential teacher in a variety of settings. The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology offers students 80+ days of professional placement, giving them the opportunity to gain some real-world experience, and graduate classroom-ready.
