Foundation Studies is delivered by the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Training, a fully owned entity of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University. Foundation Studies provides students with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for their future academic success.

Certificate IV - Design (C4382) (090420A):
This design qualification equips students with the potential to move on to higher levels of study. It is also a basic entry point to a design-based vocation by providing design knowledge and skills in visual communication and 3D design. These educational pathways may lead towards the following programs: Communication design, graphic design, graphic arts, multimedia, product design and visual merchandising, interior design and decoration, advertising. The program focuses on the investigation and development of design projects in a studio environment.
