Foundation Studies is delivered by the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology Training, a fully owned entity of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University. Foundation Studies provides students with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for their future academic success.

Bachelor of Fashion - Design (BP328) (0100709):
In the Bachelor of Fashion (Design) students will learn about commercial, niche, luxury and emerging markets, and cross-disciplinary areas of practice. Students will also be able to select a minor specialization in textile design, enterprise or sustainable innovation, allowing them to customize their studies according to their interests and career goals.
Students will be encouraged to create ethical design propositions and use cross-disciplinary strategies to drive global and competitive practice. As a graduate, students will have comprehensive knowledge in fashion design, preparing them for a wide range of existing and new industry contexts, jobs of the future, or further study.
