The Graduate Diploma in Property has been designed to help students develop the specialized knowledge and skills required to practice as a property advisor and manager.
Through the studies, students will address the industry need for property specialists with a particular focus on corporate real estate, development and management.
Students will learn to apply knowledge of property theory and concepts to the local and global professional arena, demonstrating evidenced-based judgement and ethical decision-making. They will develop specialist skills in problem evaluation, and learn to determine property value and return for diverse asset classes and projects. Their classes will develop the ability to respond to emerging trends and organizational needs across the sector, and they will learn to analyze property data and information from diverse sources, think critically, conduct research, and apply investment and valuation techniques. Finally, students will develop communication and technical skills that will allow them to communicate property development proposals, financial and valuation analyses and strategy to stakeholders.
Upon completion of this diploma, students will be able to engage with economic, legal and environmental policy frameworks to inform developed solutions, decision making and problem solving. As a graduate of this diploma, students will possess the essential knowledge and skills to act as an industry professional in a range of settings.
