The program will enable students to develop their knowledge and skills relevant to international professional practice in the development and humanitarian sectors, broadly defined to encompass knowledge of international systems and global processes, cross-cultural negotiation and management, and strategic and ethical leadership. Working with the challenges of culturally diverse contexts will be integral to their preparation for an international development career.
Students will work with leading global studies scholars to prepare for international and cross-cultural careers in development and humanitarian practice, government, business and community organizations. They will be trained in cross-cultural workplace practices, offered international study exchange opportunities, and be able to design, source and undertake an international internship oriented towards their career interests in international development.
Please note that applicants from some countries will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee. The fee will go towards the tuition deposit for any students who enroll.
