About Pre-Master's - Graduate Pathway - Social Sciences (3-Term Pathway) Transfer to Master of Arts - Philosophy
This program is for those students who do not meet the academic and English language requirements for a Master’s degree.
They will be prepared for entry to a range of postgraduate degrees in areas such as education, history, law, politics, and translation at Queen's University Belfast.
They will :
- Progress to a range of postgraduate degrees in subjects such as psychology, education, and law – which is ranked 11th in the UK (The Complete University Guide 2025).
- Benefit from research projects that have been developed by the university staff.
- Design a research project, with a literature review, methodology, and action plan.
- Keep up to date with the latest social sciences developments through internationally credited journals.
- Attend guest lectures from experts in the field, giving them access to the latest industry developments.
- Successful completion of the Pre-Master’s leads to a Graduate Diploma of Higher Education.
