About Bachelor of Science - Human Services
Through case studies and interactive classroom activities, the Bachelor of Science in Human Services is designed to help students foundational knowledge in case management techniques, prevention theories and concepts, and human development. Students will be given opportunities to develop a better understanding of people’s capacity for growth and change as well as what it takes to advocate for social justice through counseling, ethical decision-making, and crisis intervention.
From assessing client needs to improving service delivery, coursework covers several relevant issues involved in the application of human services, including theories of human development and how to apply them. Coursework also explores interpersonal dynamics, service planning, and more.
