Bachelor of Arts - Secondary Education - 6-12

PLU has one of the most respected education programs in the region, with an emphasis on relational teaching and socially just, equity-focused instruction. Students will be in K-12 schools starting their first semester in the program, completing 240-300 hours before full-time student teaching. These experiences allow students to combine learning from coursework and practicums to become a well-equipped new teacher. Students will develop deep connections with their professors and fellow education students, who will become career-long trusted colleagues. As a first year teacher with a bachelor’s degree, students can earn a $60,000 salary in the school's local districts and join thousands of alumni making a difference for children every day.
