A degree in women’s and gender studies signals to employers that students have the tools to create equitable social change regarding gender and its intersections with race, disability, sexuality, class, the environment, and more. Students build a specialized portfolio of their own research plus skills for the nonprofit sector (including education, health, philanthropy, community services) and policymaking.
