About Bachelor of Science - Zoology - Pre-Medical Science (BS)
Zoology is a life science that provides students with a thorough background in the biology of animals. This program equips students with the knowledge needed for any health-care related career.
Oklahoma State University believes in the value of undergraduate research. With a Zoology major, students learn about animal diversity and select among upper-division courses on specific animal groups and/or related topics. Students will also work on an independent research project in a faculty mentor’s lab or complete a relevant internship.
Zoology graduates are prepared to enter a variety of career fields, including the public and private sector, graduate school, or professional programs, such as medical school or veterinary school. Graduates enjoy successful careers in a variety of fields:
