Bachelor of Science - Secondary Education - Social Studies (BS)

Graduates will empower lives through teaching grades 6-12 in their chosen subject of English, foreign language, mathematics, science, social studies or art education.

Students should be prepared to teach social studies in grades 6-12 by completing some credit hours of in-depth study in history, government, geography, economics, psychology and sociology while training in adolescent development, learning theory and teaching methods.
