2-Term Pathway - Foundation Year - Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Chemistry

This course is an integrated foundation degree, where the student will progress onto our BSc (Hons) Chemistry course, once the student successfully complete their foundation year. If they are interests lie in medicinal chemistry, students can also transfer on to our BSc (Hons) Medicinal Chemistry course after they foundation year.

Through module options in Years Two and Three, students can personalise their learning in the areas of materials, environment and medicinal chemistry. They can choose to continue studying these areas of chemistry in their final year project to deepen their knowledge further. Industry wants chemistry graduates that can problem-solve and communicate their findings clearly. The school helps the students to built these skills in as a core part of our modules, so they might find yourself working on a design project as part of a group or presenting their results to their class.
