If students have finished high school but don’t meet the entry requirements for university, a Foundation Certificate can help them gain entry to an undergraduate degree.

History and Politics at NTU offers students exciting opportunities to discover and understand the past, whilst developing their understanding of the issues dominating our lives; from the war in Afghanistan to the European Union. It demands passion, focus, an open mind, intellectual curiosity and a willingness to engage with independent learning. This course will develop students' knowledge and understanding of diverse peoples, nations, and ideas from medieval and early modern through to modern and contemporary history, across Britain, Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Far East.
