Every health care organization needs more than doctors, nurses and technicians to be successful. The Health Care Management degree program develops leaders who approach their careers with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and work ethic.
The University immerse its students in all angles of health care business operations, from economics and accounting to budgeting and financial management. Students will also study organizational behavior, legal and ethical case studies, leadership, and total quality management.
Through classroom experiences and hands-on, real-world learning, students will get the skills and crucial knowledge they need to understand the big picture and lead their health care company to financial and industry success.
This program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). There are many opportunities where students' passion for Health Care can be used to focus on quality improvement and helping clinicians with administrative support. At Northwood, students can also learn how people follow the Institute of Medicines Aims of Safe Effective Patient-Centered Timely Efficient Equitable (SEPTEE) Care.
