About Bachelor of Music Education - Vocal/Voice
Program Description
The vocal music education major certifies students to teach in K-12 classrooms. The degree includes techniques to be a successful choral conductor, knowledge about the philosophy of music education, and the opportunity to take private voice lessons from highly qualified faculty. In addition to learning about the philosophy of music, students learn to play the piano.
Students in this major have opportunities to participate in the award-winning Tower Choir, University Chorale, Madraliers, Celebration Show Choir, and musical theater.
