About Master of Science - Operations Research
Operations research deals with the application of scientific methods to decision-making. Students learn how to develop and solve mathematical and computer models of systems using optimization and statistical methods.
Northeastern's program is offered jointly by the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department and the Mathematics Department, thus achieving a unique balance of theory and application.
