Master of Science - Artificial Intelligence - Continuous Process Engineering (Optional Co-op)

Northeastern University’s Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence program prepares students from various industries to design, develop, and maintain AI systems that have the potential to change the world.

Participants in the program go beyond merely learning AI as a tool; they gain an understanding of its applications and impact through an interdisciplinary lens spanning fields such as law, cybersecurity, the environment, healthcare, business, finance, and more. They develop advanced skills in algorithms, data science, robotics, and machine learning.

Students also build experience and connections at an institutional leader in human-centric and responsible AI and can choose an academic track that aligns with their career goals, whether they aspire to become specialists, researchers, or consultants. Additionally, they have the option to hold a paid, full-time co-op or internship with a partner company or within their current organization during the course of their program.

Students can now select a concentration from the following options:

• Computer Vision — College of Engineering
• Continuous Process Engineering — College of Engineering
• Energy Systems — College of Engineering
• Machine Learning — Khoury College of Computer Sciences
• Robotics and Agent-Based Systems — Khoury College of Computer Sciences

Their degree will be awarded by the home college of their chosen concentration.
