Master of Science - Materials Science and Engineering - Materials Engineering

Materials Science and Engineering is the study of the mechanical, physical, and chemical properties of engineering materials, such as metals, ceramics, polymers, and biomaterials. The program is designed for students and professionals interested in the exciting and technologically important field of materials science and engineering. Students will develop skills in problem solving, engineering analysis and design.

A materials engineer predicts and controls material properties through an understanding of atomic, molecular, crystalline, and microscopic structures of engineering materials and responsible for synthesis and processing of advanced materials. Students will get opportunity to work in areas as diverse as automobile, aerospace, biomedical, or microelectronics manufacturing available in research, quality control, product development, design, synthesis, and processing operations.
