About Master of Science - Exercise Physiology
The Exercise Physiology program at Midwestern State University (MSU Texas) is centered on research conducted both independently and in a classroom setting. Students who finish the program are well-prepared for research in the exercise physiology field, clinical work, and strength and conditioning. Often, graduates perform clinical work associated with exercise and health, work in strength and conditioning programs, and serve as coaches. Additionally, all graduates of the program who have applied to doctoral programs have been accepted. The diverse group of professors in the program has completed cardiopulmonary research, as well as research in the areas of biomechanical electromyography and applied strength and conditioning. With an 8:1 student-to-faculty ratio, professors are able to provide students with the individualized attention they need to flourish in an academic setting.
