About Pre-sessional English

Program Description

Middlesex University's pre-sessional English courses will prepare students for study in the UK at degree level. Once completed they will have the Academic English and confidence for their future studies in the UK and, students won't need to take any further English language tests, such as IELTS.

During the course students will:
  • improve their Academic English
  • develop study skills
  • build their confidence
  • learn about British education
  • take part in social activities
  • make friends

Middlesex University is proud to say that the courses have been accredited by BALEAP: the global forum for EAP professionals, which sets rigorous criteria to ensure that courses in academic English and study skills for speakers of other languages are of a high standard and provide an excellent quality of service for their students.

Note: This program can only be applied to in combination with an academic program for the purpose of obtaining language-specific conditional admission. Any applications submitted to these programs without an accompanying academic program will result in cancellation.
