Program Description
Interior design courses are rapidly growing in demand. Interior design is a vital part of the everyday environment, from office lobbies and restaurants to hotels and government buildings. Middlesex University's course aims to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills they’ll need to start their career in interior design. Students will learn all about different interior styles, what is meant by ‘placemaking’, challenge their creativity, and explore the diverse interdisciplinary nature of the subject.
This Middlesex University course is based on integrated design projects to get students thinking and working like an interior designer. They’ll be challenged to apply and demonstrate various elements of their learning. Tasks have been designed to help students develop their creativity and originality while interacting with different ideas, just like they would at work. Students will use virtual reality technology to present their ideas, becoming proficient in its use.
