About Master of Science - Leisure, Sport, and Tourism Management - Recreation and Leisure Services
The Master of Science in Leisure, Sport, and Tourism Management helps prepare individuals to lead leisure and sport organizations, to support the expansion of the leisure and sport industries, and to conduct research that advances the body of knowledge in these disciplines. Master's students complete either a thesis or a professional project/internship. An advanced doctoral degree with a specialization in Leisure Studies is also offered by the Department of Health and Human Performance. A limited number of graduate teaching assistantships, research assistantships, scholarships, and doctoral fellowships are available in addition to other forms of financial aid.
