Associate in Applied Science - Paramedic Technician

The Paramedic Technician degree from Madison College provides the educational background and training for careers in emergency medical services, hospitals, private ambulance services and community para-medicine. Occupational experience and continuing education may lead to opportunities to serve as EMS managers and instructors.

The embedded technical diploma gives students the opportunity to secure work and continue their career serving local communities, hospitals, and other institutions or industries that require the skills of paramedic. Students may choose later to complete their associate degree. 

The Madison College Paramedic Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
