Academic Accelerator - Bachelor of Science - Plant and Soil Systems - Sustainable Production Systems

The Academic Accelerator Program (AAP) is a balanced first-year program designed for international students with strong English-language skills. It complements immersive classes taught in English with appropriate support.

The curriculum in plant and soil systems integrates the disciplines of agronomy, entomology, horticulture, plant pathology, and crop physiology. Students in this curriculum will take core courses that establish a foundational knowledge necessary for specialization in one of the following areas of concentration:

Sustainable Production Systems combines applied agronomy and horticulture, with a focus on production and economics rather than science. The flexibility in course selection allows students to concentrate on specific areas of interest. Graduates are equipped for careers in private business, farm management, consulting, agricultural sales and service, nurseries and home and garden centers, as well as extension and regulatory agencies.
