Master of Science - Biotechnology

As a biotechnology-focused engineer, student will help to improve the world around us by tackling global issues in bioprocessing, healthcare and medicine. For example, by developing processes to make sustainable products such as biofuels or foods from biological resources, the manufacturing of vaccines and antibiotics, or the creation of medical and environmental technology solutions. This may also include developing new medicines using DNA technology or improving methods of drug delivery in order to improve healthcare for the population.

This programme includes a high proportion of practical work which provides valuable experience for student's career. Students will be immersed in the research-intensive culture and will complete their own biotechnology-focused research project where they can work alongside the internationally respected research teams.
