Drawing on current debates in mathematics, London Metropolitan University will introduce students to a range of interactive teaching styles including computer presentations and group work. This will help students raise pupil standards and participation in mathematics. If they need help improving their own mathematics knowledge, they can attend London Met's short Subject Knowledge Enhancement course.
The London location of the placement schools will introduce students to teaching in diverse and multicultural urban environments. They’ll discover how these children learn and the techniques they can use to develop their mathematics skills.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
