This Secondary Computer Science with ICT course leads to Qualified Teacher Status and to the Master’s Level PGCE qualification. It prepares students to teach 11 to 16-year-olds and where possible, giving them the chance to gain experience in the 16 to 18 age range.

This course covers both computer science and ICT skills, essential for a career in teaching. Computing in schools nowadays teaches pupils about programming as well as use of information technology software. This course will give students a combination of the new approaches with a more traditional ICT approach, allowing for deeper learning and enabling young people to become the innovators of the future.
Students will learn to equip pupils with a strong command of the basics of computer science and ICT and to develop their interest in the latest technologies and the many potential career paths offered through study of this subject. The school uses will explore the best way to teach pupils to use technology ethically and responsively. The school will also help students to develop a range of teaching styles and activities to engage students.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
