This course is specially designed to help students top-up their foundation degree, Higher National Diploma (HND) or business subject equivalent. Over this one year period, students will develop skills that will prepare them for a role in international business management.
Experienced business consultants will teach students the key qualities of international business management. This includes successful organisation across cultures, strategic choices in times of change and the operation of business unrestricted by national boarders. London Metropolitan University's dedicated work placement unit can also help students find experience in a role of their choice.
The key areas students will focus on includes organisation, strategy, international business and management. Depending on their preference, students could specialise in project management, international finance and trade, or even learn a new language – an incredibly useful skill when working as a manager in a multinational company.
Students will be specially trained to manage business across cultures. As consultants the teaching staff on this course have improved competitiveness and productivity as well as bilingual business psychology. By combining business strategy with cross-cultural fluency, London Metropolitan University has created a unique course that will help to give students an advantage against other graduates.
The Placements and Employability Unit is a dedicated work placement office that can help students get work experience in the roles they want. Students will build upon the academic skills they already know, and future employers will be impressed to see this experience on their CV.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
