The course’s integrated foundation year will ensure students are well-equipped as they enter Year 1 of the degree. Students will examine the basic principles of banking, finance and economics, as well as other key business functions such as marketing, operations and human resource management. Following the foundation year, students will go on to study the same course content and modules as those in London Metropolitan University Banking and Finance BSc (Hons) degree.
The course is designed with input from finance industry experts and draws on accounting, economics, investment theory, law and management to help students develop the skills they'll need to begin a career in banking or the financial services.
Students will have access to industry experts and the University's Bloomberg Lab during the course. This will provide students with valuable insight into the banking and finance sector and allow them to work with real-world economic news, data and analytics in the classroom.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
