This is a top-up version of the Theatre and Film BA (Hons). A top-up degree is the final year (Level 6) of an undergraduate degree course and is for those who have a foundation degree, Higher National Diploma or equivalent qualification, or those wishing to study the final year of their degree in London.
London is a global hub for the creative industries and for theatre and film in particular. This course combines practical and theoretical approaches to explore this area and, where possible, capitalises on the London location to help students to directly engage with prospective employers.
Studying this course, students will build a versatile approach, responding to the increasingly changeable nature of the theatre and film industries. They’ll develop skills in performing, writing for stage and screen, directing, producing and critically engaging with the language of cinema and live performance.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
