London Metropolitan University's Education (Foundation Year) BA degree will open opportunities for them to enter education. This four-year course is the perfect route into a career in education if students can’t meet the necessary entry requirements or don't have the traditional qualifications required to start a standard undergraduate degree. They’ll graduate with the same degree title and award as students on the traditional route.
In the course, students will have tutors and academic mentors who will support them to achieve their educational goals and identify their strengths. Offering great flexibility by the end of the foundation year, London Met will provide students with opportunities for specialism in a wide range of subjects after introducing them to a broad range of social sciences and current subjects.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
