This is a top-up version of London Metropolitan University's Textiles BA (Hons) degree. A top-up degree is the final year (Level 6) of an undergraduate degree course and is for those who have a foundation degree, Higher National Diploma or equivalent qualification, or those wishing to study the final year of their degree in London.
In the Textiles (Top-up) BA course, students will learn technical skills through exploring a variety of subject areas including textile design for interiors and fashion and accessories. There will be opportunities to produce collections of textiles, surface techniques and garments and to showcase in a professional setting.
They’ll have opportunities to enter local and international competitions, to exhibit their work and to visit industry and trade shows in London, Paris and Florence.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
