Bachelor of Science - Bioscience and Philosophy

As a Biology major, you will investigate the workings of the natural world, building a deeper understanding of life sciences and a deeper appreciation for the processes of life. The program will give you the preparation necessary for a career in biology or teaching, or further study in a graduate or professional school.

Co-sponsored by the Department of Biology and the Department of Education, the Biology Teaching Major offers solid groundwork in biology and other sciences, coupled with extensive training in education. Biology courses put a strong emphasis on investigating the workings of the natural world, from the micro to the macro level.
