2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year in Science, Engineering and Computing - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Business Management with Law at Leeds Beckett University

The International Foundation Year at Leeds International Study Centre helps students to progress to their chosen undergraduate degree at Leeds Beckett University. Students will spend two semesters in the supportive environment of the International Study Centre, working with expert tutors in order to confidently enter the first year of their undergraduate degree at the University.

On the International Foundation Year in Science, Engineering and Computing, students will be taught English language, study and academic skills so that they can succeed in their undergraduate degree, as well as their future career once they graduate.

Students will study a combination of core and subject-specific modules that focus on helping them learn the skills most relevant to the degree they want to study.

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Business Management with Law

Students will give themselves an edge in the employment market by learning to observe the business world from a legal perspective on this business management law course.

Students will develop a dynamic combination of practical business knowledge and legal expertise and open doors to a range of career opportunities.

As part of your course, students will:

• Examine core business principles including finance, communications, entrepreneurship and human resource management
• Cover legal aspects such as copyright, commercial law, company law, intellectual property rights and media and entertainment law
• Learn from a teaching team made up of experienced business and legal professionals who have professional relationships with key employers in Leeds such as Eversheds, DAC Beachcroft and Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC
