The course is multi-disciplinary in nature, with a focus on critically examining various aspects of sport development such as strategic management, leadership, governance, diversity and inclusion, and sport for development.
Through the completion of the Independent Project, individuals will develop a specialism in an area of interest and vocational relevance. This offers the option to undertake a professional project in collaboration with an organization within the sport development industry, allowing practitioners to take control of their career development.
The MA Sport Development & Management is suitable for recent graduates or current practitioners in sport development/administration or related occupations. Applications are encouraged from both UK and international applicants, with equal benefits for all participants.
