About Master of Science - Geology (Thesis) (Supervisor Required)
Through this program students will further their knowledge in Earth Sciences through a comprehensive MSc program that includes theoretical study, research, as well as lab and field experience. Students will develop their geoscience skills and toolkit and contribute to ground-breaking research, from the formulation of a thesis problem to its solution.
Students will choose a specialization based on their interests and areas of expertise. Renowned faculty are leaders in their sub-disciplines, recognized through international and national awards.
Research areas include, but are not limited to:
- Ore deposit geology
- Volcanology
- Structural geology
- Sedimentology
- Paleontology
- Mineralogy
- Igneous and metamorphic petrology
- Geophysics
- 3D computer modeling
