3-Term Pathway - Pre-Master's in Business and Management - Continue to Master of Science - Human Resource and Consulting

This program will prepare studsents for entry to a postgraduate degree at the triple-accredited Lancaster University Management School, ranked world top 70 for Business and Management Studies (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023).

The ability to empower organisations and their people is a highly sought-after skill, and the focus on developing, valuing, and managing human resources has never been greater. This unique course blends strategic HR, development and consulting to develop expertise in working with and through people.

Whether students are a recent graduate or already working in HR, management education or consultancy, their mind will be challenged as they are trained to think and act critically and effectively.

This is not a programme focused on simplistic ‘models’ or techniques. Instead, students will be taught to hone the capabilities and skills necessary to develop people and knowledge effectively.

Students will put their newly developed conceptual abilities into practice with real-life organisations, including how to intervene constructively in strategic issues and stimulate change through consulting. Students will be encouraged to work collaboratively, sharing ideas and experiences with international classmates and tutors. As graduates say, that’s often how one will learn the most.

Students are provided with a supportive environment, centred around students. They will be taught by distinguished academics who research and publish at the very highest level. They will also hear from guest speakers ranging from internal managers to experienced external consultants. The learning approach includes critical analysis, experiential learning and interactive processes. Even students dissertations will be stimulated through peer-supported research.
