About Bachelor of Science - Exercise Science - Pre-Physical/Occupational Therapy/Podiatric Medicine
The Bachelor of science in Exercise Science focuses on the scientific study of human movement and exercise, preparing students for careers in fields such as sports performance, rehabilitation, fitness and health promotion. You'll learn from experienced faculty members and gain hands-on experience through internships, research opportunities and our state-of-the-art exercise science lab.
The goal of the program is to prepare competent entry-level Exercise Science professionals in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (abilities) learning domains. Individual course content, objectives, and assessments are structured to achieve this larger goal.
The Pre-Physical/Occupational Therapy/Podiatric Medicine concentration prepares students for subsequent graduate school in these areas. The pre-podiatric medicine track is designed to be a combined program with Kent State University's College of Podiatric Medicine.
