1-Term Pathway - Pre-Masters in Business - Continue to Master of Science - Project Management

The Pre-Master's in Business one-semester program is for students who do not meet the traditional entry requirements for a postgraduate business degree at Keele University.

Contemporary project management principles, methods and tools are explored, helping students to develop an understanding of how to apply these in various business environments and manage the leadership challenges you may face. The students will examine AGILE thinking and PRINCE2 and examine project risk, failure and success along with the different techniques to mitigate risk. The challenges of creative systems thinking and its application to project management are investigated and the students will gain insights into the leadership aspects of managing projects and teams, covering key theories such as team development and conflict resolution.

Central to this programme is a strong focus on advancing the professional development and providing practical industry engagement opportunities, strategically enhancing the students employability. The students will connect with experienced professionals, gain insights into the latest trends in their chosen field and have the opportunity to work directly with an organisation to develop solutions for a current business issue, gaining valuable real-world skills.
