About 2-Term Pathway - Pre-Master's for Business, Economics and Finance - Transfer to Master of Science - Accounting and Management
If you hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help you gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at the University of York. Your course length is determined mainly by your English language level (UKVI IELTS score).
Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If your course is longer than 2 terms, you’ll take additional modules designed to improve one or more of your English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.
Master of Science - Accounting and Financial Management
This course gives students access to leading figures in the fields of accounting, finance and management.
Students will study alongside academic staff with an international reputation for research. They'll build on their existing knowledge, and receive rigorous training in advanced theories of modern accounting and finance.
