This course combines in-depth subject specialism in electrical and electronic engineering with interdisciplinary breadth, creative teamwork and entrepreneurial skills. Alongside electrical and electronic engineering studies, students will apply subject knowledge by translating ideas into plans for digital and creative enterprises, both social and commercial.

The course will equip students to use the critical, theoretical and practical skills central to electrical and electronic engineering, allowing them to develop your knowledge and skills across a range of areas. Studenyd will gain a grounding in mathematics, computing, analogue and digital electronics, communications, electromagnetics, power electronics and control, as well as explore a range of optional courses and individual project topics. The diverse range of units allows students to focus on anything from electrical power systems to electronic communications.

Students will come together with students from other innovation disciplines, such as psychology and theatre, to learn and apply design and systems thinking to digital and creative ideas. They will work in transdisciplinary teams to put these ideas into practice, ultimately creating new ventures together.
