3-Term Pre-Master's for Business, Law and Social Sciences - Continue to Master of Arts - Media and Communications

For students who hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help them gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at City, University of London. The course length is determined mainly by English language level (UKVI IELTS score).

Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take additional modules designed to improve one or more of their English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.

Master of Arts - Media and Communications

This MA in Media & Communications course has been developed for those who wish to extend, deepen, update and sharpen their knowledge and understand current developments in media and communications. It will also provide students with the confidence to undertake further studies related to their academic practice and support them disseminating this work.

The methodological approaches and research tools students learn will be applied in their individual research projects and can be professionally applied to working in the field.
