About 1-Term Pathway - International Incorporated Master's (IIM) - Continue to Master of Science - Management and Marketing
The Pre-Masters program is designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to a postgraduate degree at the University of Dundee. This may be due to the grades achieved in their undergraduate degree, their current qualifications not being equivalent to a UK undergraduate degree, or a desire to improve their academic and English language skills.
The Pre-Masters course will equip students with the advanced skills necessary to complete their postgraduate study at the University of Dundee. They can choose to study over one or two terms, depending on their academic qualifications and English language level. The one-term option offers a fast track route to their chosen degree course and is studied over three months. The two-term option is studied over six months and provides additional academic English and subject-related support.
Master of Science - Management and Marketing
Marketing, as a business discipline, changes continuously due to the ever-evolving range of digital channels and solutions available for targeting, communicating with, and engaging customers. Significant advancements have also occurred regarding the availability and access to customer data, online trends, and market research, all of which are crucial for understanding customer behaviors and play an important role in marketing planning.
In addition to covering the traditional foundational concepts and theories of marketing, students will also develop knowledge in social media marketing, digital marketing, content generation, digital tracking, and data analysis. They will gain an understanding of the practical aspects of marketing tools and learn the pros and cons of each, preparing them to become effective professional marketers.
