International Year One - Undergraduate Pathway - Science, Applied Sciences and Technology (2-Semester Pathway) Transfer to Bachelor of Science - Mathematics - Statistics

International Year One is a supportive program that allows students to earn credits towards their degree while receiving additional academic, cultural and language support customized for international students.

Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next semester of study at Illinois State University.

Statistics is the science and art of making inferences from data under conditions of uncertainty. The practice of statistics requires not only an understanding of statistical techniques but also an understanding of the problem that requires statistical analysis, whether it is in the liberal arts, the sciences, health sciences, or business.

The Statistics sequence includes an interdisciplinary component, allowing the program to help develop skills in the application of statistics to a variety of disciplines.
