International Year One - Undergraduate Pathway - Science, Applied Sciences and Technology (2-Semester Pathway) Transfer to Bachelor of Science - Biological Sciences - Conservation Biology

International Year One is a supportive program that allows students to earn credits towards their degree while receiving additional academic, cultural and language support customized for international students.

Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next semester of study at Illinois State University.

Biological Sciences majors selecting this sequence will receive broad training in Conservation Biology. This sequence is designed for students seeking careers in the conservation of natural ecosystems and their organisms at all levels of biodiversity.

The coursework will also prepare students for graduate studies in Conservation Biology, as well as for internships and entry-level positions in conservation-oriented non-governmental organizations, state and federal government agencies, and environmental consulting firms.
