About International Year One - Undergraduate Pathway - General (2-Semester Pathway) Transfer to Bachelor of Arts - Psychology
International Year One is a supportive program that allows students to earn credits towards their degree while receiving additional academic, cultural and language support customized for international students.
Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next semester of study at Illinois State University.
Bachelor of Arts - Psychology
The major in Psychology requires a capstone experience, which provides students with challenging opportunities to apply their knowledge of psychology to research, teaching, or practice endeavors. Students can work with faculty in the classroom or in their research labs, or study specific topics of interest.
The Department of Psychology has also established an extensive internship program that offers students the chance to apply their knowledge in a work setting within the local community. The Research Apprenticeship Program, Undergraduate Teaching Assistantship Program, and Internship Program are designed to provide students with practical experiences beyond their academic coursework.
