International Year One - Undergraduate Pathway - Fine Arts (1-Semester Pathway) Transfer to Bachelor of Arts - Studio Arts Drawing

International Year One is a supportive program that allows students to earn credits towards their degree while receiving additional academic, cultural and language support customized for international students.

Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next semester of study at Illinois State University.

The Wonsook Kim School of Art offers a comprehensive list of sequence options for students interested in Studio Arts. The following areas of specialization are available: Ceramics, Drawing, Expanded Media, Glass, Printmaking, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Video, and Wood/Metal Design.

After completing a first-year foundations curriculum, students can choose a sequence within an individual studio. Within each sequence, faculty members actively engage in introducing students to various technical skills and concepts specific to that discipline. The cohesive sequencing of courses within each studio area allows students to build skills and knowledge toward a highly sophisticated level of work in their chosen field of exploration.
