International Year One - Undergraduate Pathway - Business (1-Semester Pathway) Transfer to Bachelor of Arts - Business Education

International Year One is a supportive program that allows students to earn credits towards their degree while receiving additional academic, cultural and language support customized for international students.

Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next semester of study at Illinois State University.

Bachelor of Arts - Business Education

The Business Education major at Illinois State University combines a solid foundation of a business degree with the preparation needed to become a business and computer education teacher. This program is the only K-12 Business Education program in the state and the only dedicated business education program at a public institution. There is currently a shortage of business teachers in Illinois.

Graduates of the Business Education program are prepared to teach all business and information technology courses, including business, accounting, business law, information processing/keyboarding, computer applications, consumer economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, business communications, web design, digital media, and many more.
