Undergraduate Transfer Program is a customized study plan that offers academic, cultural and language support to international students who will be transferring college credit across to their degree.
The Department of Finance at the Frank G. Zarb School of Business is just 25 miles from the financial capital of the world in New York City. Students will receive hands-on experience with the same technology and software used in the industry. The department master’s in science in quantitative finance ranked #35 in the nation and the master’s in science in finance program ranked #40 in the nation by The Financial Engineer. Students in the Department of Finance have access to:
- The Martin B. Greenberg Trading Room, one of the largest and most sophisticated academic trading rooms in the nation, equipped with 34 Bloomberg terminals and industry-standard databases. Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certification is also offered through the Martin B. Greenberg Trading Room.
- Courses taught by faculty with scholarly and practical experience, including many with the Chartered Financial Analyst designation – the gold standard in global finance.
- Internships at leading institutions including Goldman Sachs, Capital One Bank and Northwestern Mutual.
- Active, well-regarded student organizations –the Financial Management Association, the Investment Analysis Association, Hofstra Quants and Traders, Hofstra Investment Banking Association, and the ALPFA.
